As 2008 comes to a close the 2009 NAIAS starts the new year for us automobile and car show buffs here in chilled and snowbound North East.
In its 21st Year as an international event the NAIAS is the premier Automobile Manufactures event for North America.
The NAIAS is hosted in Detroit\\'s Cobo Hall, January 11 - 25, 2009 with 3 special events before the public opening.

Created in the model of FreeRevs.com, but for auto dealers inventories only.
Almost immediately after FreeRevs.com was launched in June 2008, it rapidly became one of the busiest car classified sites on the web and auto dealers began contacting us to have their entire inventories listed on the site. It�s the middle of September and the car show season is near its end here in Michigan.
It would have been a shame if the rain had spoiled the Team Shelby Car Show assembled at Ford World Headquarters on this soaked, Saturday morning in Dearborn, not in this case.

Yearly on the third Saturday of August the Motor City in cooperation with WDC, Inc. and 9 participating communities host the legendary Woodward Dream Cruise.
Historically Woodward avenue is a hot spot for Cruising in automobiles from drive in to drive in, socializing with other car buffs and the occasional street race. The big three automakers Ford, GM, and Chrysler have close ties to Woodward all being local Manufacturers and are said to have tested and tuned new cars and prototypes in the post war days on Woodward avenue.

Once a year in the middle of July the city of Ann Arbor opens its streets to a spectacular display of automobiles. Hundreds of vehicles from our past, present and future are given free reign of Main street and several adjoining street blocks to show our pride and love for the pieces of art that they are.

On a beautiful spring morning we assembled and drove to Riverside park in historic Ypsilanti, Michigan. The sun was shinning and the clear sky was a soft, silvery blue, a perfect day for the 12th annual Ypsilanti Orphan Car Show.
An orphan is a car whose parent companies no longer manufacture vehicles in the U.S., with a few exceptions. A show filled with 300 specimens of automotive history and odd ducks. If you like old cars that you have never seen before this the a place to be on June 1st.
