It's sunny on this afternoon in SE Michigan but some dark clouds are looming as we make our way to the largest car show and cruise in the world.
15 miles of Woodward Avenue, across the suburbs of Detroit make up the venue for the 29th Annual Woodward Dream Cruise.
The Detroit Auto Show in its best days was a sight to behold.
Prototypes and concepts, Innovation and technology displays, and hundreds of beautiful new cars and trucks around elaborate presentations that took weeks to put together.
It was a beautiful day in South East Michigan and from the roof top parking area of the former Cobo Hall, there was a nice view of Detroit's skyline and across the river to Windsor, Canada.

The Woodward Dream Cruise is a summer tradition and a family friendly, parade of cars, trucks and bikes like no other.

8 Host communities and over 15 miles make up the venue for the largest one day car show. The Woodward Dream cruise from end to end connects this iconic drive through the cities of Ferndale, Royal Oak, Berkley, Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills and Pontiac.

Saturday August 15th, 2020 will live as a great american gathering in Detroit.
The news media and the organizers said there would be no Woodward Dream Cruise this year but the the car loving American public didn't get the memo.
