Cobo Center is the perfect venue for a day of family fun in the motor city.
Attendance for the first day of the public show was reported to be over 112,000.
With a total attendance of over 800,000.
This year revealed to be another great year for trucks and SUVs and shows if you want to be in the US market you had better bring a truck.

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Bullitt, Ford plans to make a special edition Bullitt for 2018 this summer.
On display was the original Steve McQueen Bullitt Mustang a 1968 GT fastback. Next to it sat the Mustang Bullitt Edition in Highland Green produced this year.
Chevrolet brought the full line of the new 1500 Silverado with rumors of a diesel option.
The Jeep Cherokee gets a new look and the Wrangler looks as capable as ever. It's also rumored that we can expect a truck from Jeep in 2019.
Dodge and its Ram brand redesign of the hood and front grill area look strong as well.
