The Ford Display at The Woodward Dream Cruise

The Ford Motor Company exhibit area on Woodward Ave. at 9 Mile in Ferndale, Michigan was amazing this year. Taking over most of East 9 mile through Ferndale Showing off all the new models including the limited edition 2012 Mustang Boss 302, the European Focus RS and the new Ford Explorer.
We were able to get a close look at the latest Ford and Ford SVT (Special Vehicles Team) has to offer, as well as some 2011 models and non-US versions of Ford vehicles.
The weather wasn't exactly cooperative, but the silver lining to this rain soaked show is that cars photograph extremely well when they are wet.
The Ford Motor Company at the Woodward Dream Cruise had some outstanding special displays this year including:
-The 2012 Mustang Boss 302 and the race ready Laguna Seca model.
-A display by Ford Racing and The Mustang Garage will showcase the custom upgrades for the current model Mustangs, the new Fiesta and show off several Ford factory race cars.
-Ford's Monster truck "Blue Thunder"
-Mustang Alley, one of the largest gatherings of Mustangs in the country. An extensive showcase of of all years models and breeds.
-The entire Ford display was over 1/2 mile long with Mustangs filling every adjacent parking lot down E. 9 Mile. Quite a sight.
This showing by Ford was as good as some of the Detroit International Auto Shows we have attended and if you enjoy Mustangs with a healthy dose of Roush and Saleen thrown into the mix this could very well be the best Ford display of the year.
